Just purchased my first Rolex!
Hello TRF, I've been a long time admirer of Rolex', but have alway worn Breitlings, Tag Heuers, Seikos etc.
I recently sold off a couple to hunt for a grail. I narrowed my search down to a Rolex DSSD, Pam 359 and Pam 329. By my topic title I think you all know which I ruled superior for me in the end. The DSSD will be my first Rolex, and I think I made the right decision. I purchased it right here from TRF. Wired the funds yesterday and hope to have it sometime this week. Pictures to follow but for now here is the thread from where I purchased, http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=269602 I hope this beauty takes my mind off those Pam's for a while. |

Thank-you! I will post many pics next week when I get it. Very excited on this one. It has been a grail of mine ever since I went into a Rolex AD about 4 years ago and helped my father choose one for my mother as a gift. I tried on the DSSD then and knew I needed to have one some day.

That's a great choice. You're going to spend so much of your time admiring, cleaning, and playing with your new baby...I've had mine for a little over a month and it still feels like the first day...

Great to hear. I can't wait! I am praying the wire goes through my Monday so I can have it forbew years.

Congrats!!! Great watch and welcome to the cub! I have had mine since June and I love it, I just recently purchased a PAM 005, great watch to compliment the DSSD.
