If you're note sure, don't buy. Period.

The pearl on the bezel looks wrong, and the crown guards are awful pointy. And the date magnification seems weak. And near the 40 on the bezel, is there some gold missing? It seems to follow in all the pics.

But there are others who know better.

Have it checked my a watchmaker before laying down any cash, but there are several things about this watch that make me suspicious.

1. Dial indices look a bit large. Almost looks like a Maxi-dial, except there's no such thing as a blue Sub Maxi...

2. The 12 o'clock triangle looks too "short and fat"

3. The printing on the dial doesn't have the "3D" thick printing that mine does.

4. The axle that the second hand mounts to looks a bit too big.

5. The gold ring around the bezel pearl looks too thin.

6. The flutes on the crown don't look quite as distinct as they should be.

I'm not saying that I'm certain it's a fake, but there's enough to make me suspicious. Be very careful.

IMO a Fake.
And not a good fake - if there is such a thing.

Like the previous posters have said, you have to get authentication on this timepiece. But, the real question is, how much is the seller offering you for the watch? If the price is too good to be true, then for obvious reasons it's probably fake then.

The triangle at 12 is off center. Also the triangle and pearl is all wrong. Looks fake to me.

IMO opinion fake. It looks that the dial is a maxi dial and also the date font and especially number 3 looks strange to me. The dot on the bezel doesnt is not ok for sure

I'd be more concerned about the authenticity of my camera lens.

More reason for the buyer to beware: It DOES have some sort of laser etched coronet, but the photos don't give a lot of detail on that spot. Difficult to judge its quality, it would be good informaton for future reference. Something else to be concerned about, so take good care!
