Panerai Sighting At Costco
I've seen posts in the past where folks found Rolexes for sale at Costco. Looks like Panerai is finding its way into the display cases too. A friend that was shopping there today texted me this pic. Pretty good discount from retail cost. Curious as to what the warranty document situation would be with this watch. Even if no papers were included, the Costco return policy could still make it worthwhile.

I assume Costco and WM are not AD's. How do they get them, from dealers who can't sell them? At what cost? Sorry I am ignorant about such matters.
I know of an AD who has sold "old" Rolex BNIB stock to a grey dealer. Guess they can do that but they can't discount them. |

Personally I feel high end watches are a great thing for the respective brands. Why? Because most people have no idea how much a high quality watch costs. The average person thinks a Rolex costs $500-$1000, knowing that a Rolex actually costs 6K+ they may have more respect for the brands but more importantly will be less likely to fall for scams selling a Rolex for a couple hundred bucks.

My local Costco carries Panerai, Breitling, diamond crusted Cartiers and IWC, to name a few. That IWC 5001-07 I saw looked nice...

I had my first opportunity to check out a U-BOAT while at Costco a few weeks back.

I spotted a PAM00183 Panerai Radiomir Black Seal at Costco last weekend. I took some photos and and posted them here:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=253526 Nice looking watch priced at $5199.99.
