Z TT blue sub no chapter ring ?

Hi all, just browsing through this awesome site again and was reading the posts about the chapter ring 'rolexrolexrolex'. I picked up a TT blue sub date October 2007 , Z serial # no rolexrolexrolex. Are there pics of this watch with it and how come its missing on mine ? Would I need to request a specific series year or month to get it ? And would it be a big operation to have it changed out on mine ? And the serial # is supposed to be etched into the chapter ring ? Tiny ?
Thanks and cheers eh ?

From all accounts, it appears that the TT blue Sub shifted to the CRB for the M series. Haven't heard of any Z series TT bluesies with it...

I have yet to see a TT Blue with a CRB, so the chances of a Z series having one is unlikely. You're more likely to find it on a M series.

And since the CRB is actually engraved on the casing, I doubt they will add that to yours. And yes the serial is etched at the 6 o'clock mark.

Okay, I promise that as soon as I actually receive my Z-series 16613, I will post pics with the CRB!

I have a Z series SS Sub Date without the CRB, and my M series GMT IIc has the CRB. The truth is that the CRB is really subtle in reality, thus now I don't care one way or another about the CRB (I used to long for CRB when I first saw it).

I bought a new AD tt blue sub z series. It DID NOT have the CRB

I bought a new AD ss daytona BEFORE i got the sub, and this had the CRB.

Its no big deal. Plus on the z series, its a hit and miss, some have em and some dont.

Cheers mate

Without doubt, ALL Rolex watches will get the CRB eventually.

serial on chapter ring

Again thanks for the info and pics. I have a Z serial tt sub date blue, no rrr on chapter ring and I cannot see the serial number on the chapter ring. Is it really small ? Is this normal for this model ? or should I be concerned. The item was from an AD who even opened it up to show me the insides when I purchased it. Maybe I am being paranoid.

Models WITH CRB: Serial number + "ROLEXROLEX" (10 times) + Rolex coronet at 12 o' clock.

Models WITHOUT CRB: NO serial number on the chapter ring, no ROLEXROLEX and NO coronet at 12 o' clock.

Serial number between the lugs at 6 o' clock under the end link.

So your TT Blue Sub WITHOUT the CRB is perfectly normal.

Not sure whether any has a pic of it, yet, but Tony "BuffaloRolex" reported having seen an example of the TT Sub with the CRB yesterday, at his AD.
