There was a long stretch where I only wore 26mm on 44 Luminors.
Looks nice.

The 26mm straps from various manifacturers looks very nice on the Luminors.I have never had a problem with fitting to the case. The squished effect disappears quickly,as the strap settles on the fit.I have also used it on the Radiomir again.Just stretch it a bit and its perfect again !! No need to cut a 26mm strap to fit a Luminor. Leather is a wonderful material !!

I didn't know you could use 26mm straps on 24mm lugs.
It must be a very tight squeeze, I don't know that I would be game to buy a 26mm strap to fit on a 44mm Anyway, what if any are the benefits of a 26mm strap on a 44mm case?

I was more thinking in line of a rabid Koala .... sitting in that bluegum tree, waiting for the poor ,defenseless, innocent victim to walk under.. ,those shifty eyes, going left, going right .... and then with the ferocious attack of a ninja turtle,it strikes !!!!!!

If you have a 26mm strap for a Radiomir, its nice to fit on a Luminor too,if mood dictates.I have a GSD whiskey that looks great on the 104 and the 242. Dont need to buy a 26mm for a Luminor, but nice to have as an alternative for both a Luminor and Radiomir.Simple. |

Sorry to pick up an old thread... Would it be ok to fit the 26mm strap to a 47mm Luminor (1950) after we have squished it for a 44mm Lum? I was told that the leather could become 'permanently squished'... Is this true?
