Number anyone

Hi not sure how many guys work on tools here . But I'm after a rep/ owner driver for a snap on tools truck. Well at home they come around in a truck full of tools to your shop . I'm not sure what u guys call them in the US.
The reason is the dollar has been high for a long time and snap on Australia is just robbing people . Well even more then usual
So if anyone gets tools or no one from your area , a number would be great so I can order direct from the US.since you can only order from the US site if u have a US address.
Thanks guys

OP I don't use tools but did have a look at them a long while back and the prices are indeed high. What is even more ironic is that Snap-on tools miniature models (models similar to miniature car models etc.) are also quite expensive

Ah-ha! I'm familiar with Snap-On tools. It was the numbers part that confused me.

We call them the same thing - guys that come around in a truck to your shop selling Snap-On tools. And - they great tools - but they are deadly pricey here too and not many home mechanics (or struggling auto shops) can afford them! I have no connections, though. Luck!

Between buying them in the US and getting them downunder (heavy) I don't think you'll be saving anything?

Your best bet is finding someone in US to make the purchase after you PayPal the funds. Then use a flat rate shipper because their stuff isn't light.

PS: I have no knowledge about customs/duty for US tools coming to Australia.

How much tools are we talking about?

I can ask our SnapOn guy if he wants to ship to AU but I have my doubts as I've yet haven't met one I like.
