Cant make up my mind between DSSD or Or GMT II or Daytona

I have 10-11k budget , I just sold my Tag Heuer Link , Omega SeaMaster , and rolex datejust.!!! I told myself Im gonna just stick with one watch for now and it has to be Rolex. I would appriciate on if someone can gimme guidence. If you have to stick with only one which one would you choose. Thanks!!!

I don't think you can go wrong here. Personally, the DSSD is my all time favorite watch but I like the bigger size/heft whereas some find it to be too much. I encourage you to try each of them on to see how they look and feel and go with what sings to you. Best of luck in your decision!

to be hornest , At first I really like the new Sub but it seems every one of my coworker wearing one. I like big watch so im leaning toward DSSD but the GMT II and Daytona to so damn coool too.

If you do some/alot of traveling, go with the GMT II, if you just need an all around great sport watch especially in and around water, pick the DSSD. I love the Daytona, but I'm one of a few that needs the date feature. For what ever reason, I don't know the date from day-to-day unless I look at my watch! I have an Explorer I that I love to wear, but I usually end up asking someone for the date when writing a check or something!

Definitely try all three on at the same time, several times, and again over several days. The GMT is the middle ground offering the most versatility. With that said, if you can handle the added heft of the DSSD, it is definitely the most impressive watch of the bunch.

I traded out of a GMT II in December for the DeepSea because the GMT II just looked too darn small. Highschool girls had Michael Kors watches that looked badder than my GMT II. You cannot go wrong with the DeepSea. Wore it with a tux this week and it looked AWESOME!

Daytona will feel like a tin foil compared to DSSD.

Try on the DSSD first to make sure you are cool with the scyscraper profile. I went to the AD today and tried one on. I really tried to like it (birthday is coming up) but I couldn't get past the grotesque height. Some people love that aspect though. I'll admit it's an amazing watch - if only it were a more reasonable thickness. That domed crystal is boss!

I think the DSSD and Daytona are extremes while the GMT sits squarely in the middle.

If you like a larger watch, the DSSD, I've had mine for going on 3 years and love it! I jumped from the GMT II to it at the time. The Daytona was always the Rolex I wanted... until I put it on my 7" wrist... It's just tiny on me.

My next Rolex is the YM II SS/Rose. Saving up for that one.

The DSSD is too fat for my taste as it is a tad top heavy. Daytona doesn't have a date. GMT IIc is extremely versatile and comfortable.

Daytona wears small. GMT bigger for the same size. DSSD even bigger. I love them all. If this is your "one" Rolex think about how big you'd like it to look ON YOUR WRIST 5 yrs. from now. Things change......

As much as I love my DEEPSEA I would not want it to be my only watch.
I would go with a Sub or the GMT.

I just bought a 116523 today and it is beautiful
(I do have a thin wrist though so 40mm is just right)
I also have a milguass so a chrono rolex sounds better
(i hate gmt, it is just me)

I own two of your three since I personally do not need chrono. If I were to go down to only one watch I would keep the GMT.

DSSD is a great watch and I wear it a lot, but it may be too much if it was only one watch - there are times when its size may get in a way and it is definitely more of a watch in its presence than GMT.

I'm sure there are members that have only DSSD and are happy. But if I was forced to part with one of my two Rolex watches it would be the DSSD (though I would miss it a lot and re-acquire it as soon as situation allowed.
