Rose gold Daytona 116505 vs 116515
I'm considering one of these Daytona's. Ceramic rose gold with chocolate dial 116515 vs 116505 black dial with rose gold bracelet. I know the bracelet is a little more. Has anyone tried both on? Any comparisons pics would be greatly appreciated. Which do you like?

Just tried on an Everose at Shreve&Co yesterday in San Francisco. They had a gorgeous chocolate dial with a bracelet (but standard engraved bezel). Wish now I had taken a picture (I guess it didn't happen then?) But WOW! That was a stunner and nearly shifted my desire away from a white Daytona with meteorite dial. While the ceramic bezel is a beaut, I would go the extra and get a bracelet model with a standard bezel and (for me) chocolate dial. In the ones you mentioned, bracelet and black dial. I can't add a bracelet to a strap model if I change my mind...

Between the two, I'd go for the bracelet model but I would wait for Basel 2013. Maybe Rolex will introduce a Daytona with ceramic bezel and bracelet.

Really tough call. I have a black face on bracelet and the ivory dial ceramic. Both are great and the chocolate dial looks amazing. If I were to keep just one I would probably keep the bracelet version though...

Bracelet version! They are both great, but if you have the option and dont mind the price increase bracelet is the way to go. You can always get a strap later.

Both are great pieces. I think that the Rose Gold with the bracelet just really stands out. Not as much a fan of the Ceramic with strap.

If you like the chocolate dial, you can get it on the bracelet version. I would take the strap version myself, the ceramic bezel adds something special

Ideally I would want the ceramic bezel on a rose gold Daytona with the bracelet. I would wait for Basel 13 to see if Rolex does that, especially since its going to be a big purchase.

Might be hard to find and extremely expensive. Pretty sure Rolex will not sell one to you if you own the strap version. |

It is very frustrating that Rolex should not release the Ceramic Bezel with a bracelet.

116505 I just like the bracelet better.
However If I were you and I was having a problem deciding, I would probably wait until after Basel. I kind of doubt they will come out with any further RG options, but might as well wait just a bit and see what exactly is going to come out.

I find the bracelet very comfortable.
Would wait until Rolex announces the new lineup before making any decisions. |

I like the 116515
What you can do is get the 116505 + leather strap and put the bracelet in the box and wear leather |
