Don't worry about overseas. Some one here could even feel safe inside Wal-Mart on the big city of The U.S.A. And some even claim their could even get out of their house with out carrying a conceal gun. I really feel sorry to hear that. I believe that person would never leave his or her State. Or, travel on the airplane. Because of carrying gun all the time.

Another thing. Why would we made a negative judgment to other with out a solid proof. I would like to ask you this.
If some one that you never know, made a compliment about your beautiful ROLEX. I believe you would be happy. But, if some one or even your friend or co-worker ask you whether is real ROLEX or not. Would that piss you off? I do.

If I see some one wearing expensive watch or jewelry. I alway believe that is a real one. Maybe, it is not. So what, It didn't cost me a cent. Maybe that person can only afford that and maybe not. Just like my wife, she went out to Wal-Mart and bought $10 earing that look the same to me with the real pair of diamond that I bough for her. I still think that she is crazy. But, that what she want. I can't ague with her.

I alway believe that people who miss trust other and alway think other people is a liar then he must be a liar himself.

Not everyone carry a gun everytime they leave their residence. Most of us CCW holders know where we can carry and onboard airplanes is not one of them. And yes, I "travel on the airplane" frequently.

What is Erap? Oh, BTW, I don't need to carrying my gun. I have them in the safe. I just open up to admire them once in the blue moon. That's all. Where I live, I can left the front door open all night and sleep with out a fear. So, I feel sorry for those whose are so paranoia that have to have a gun to go any where else. Sorry.

Alexander, your place is safe because bad guys don't like to be stuck on the traffic on the 91, it is too easy to get caught! :-)

My house is in the San Bernardino mountains. Just as safe there too. Some years back the biggest crime of the year was two newspapers stolen out of the machine one Sunday. Then again we have bears that walk the street. Bad guys tend to not like those either.

Yes, Robert, that bad thing about Southern California. More people like to live here that why we have more car on the road. We have good weather most of the time, not to hot, not to cold and no humidity. My wife whose came from Laos seven year ago want to see the snow. I told her that look at the mountain. I believe is San Bernardino mountains which has snow on the top of the mountain during this time. I believe you really miss your home now. I was lucky that when I travel and some time underway with NAVY ship on my job is only week or two at the time. And the most is only few month on the road. Some time I hear sailor that I work with complain about their job. I alway told them that they are really lucky to serve in NAVY at this time. Compare to Army and Marine, which most of them have to be on the war zone. Well good luck and happy New Year to all of you out there.

Believe me, I spent more time in Sheraton Waikiki more than my own home. But, nothing like home. One good thing though. That where I got my Daytona SS right in front of my Hotel. Because I stop by to check my favorite watch so many time. I end up get to know a sale lady. And just last month she called and got me a black dial. She will try to get me another one maybe a white dial.

I don't know about you but I have always thought Wal-Mart was the great demographic melting pot of retail.

Drive around the parking lot and check out the cars. They range from rusting 75 Impalas to new Range Rovers.

I live in a major city in a very nice neighborhood. I never lock my front door or set my alarm. I have a neighbor who lives a block away. She won't leave the house without setting her alarm, I think she sets it when she is home. She is also married and has 5 kids and a dog, so she not living alone. I guess everyone lives with a different amount of fear in the same situations.

I've had a 9mm pointed at my face once while living a nice neighborhood in Houston, the guy just wanted my Carrera. Told him he can have it, its fully insured. They found it a few days later on the freeway. Just took it for a joy ride. I still wouldn't carry a gun or worry about anything like that. As far as home security, my 9lb miniature schnauzer will take care of security :)

The two Weimaraners will probably want to play fetch with any burglar though :)

This forum is about watches, not guns. Everyone can take their own protective measures, probably best if they keep that private, as we are all in different situations and it is impossible to judge another by ones own personal circumstances.
I can't recall and discussion about watches in this thread so it's now going to be closed.
