Been struggling all afternoon with this remote control....

I bought a 40" flat panel tv for the bedroom wall today and been struggling with the remote.

To switch between programs it works fine between 1 and 9 but I can't figure out how to go to two digit programs.

Any idea what I'm talking about?

1. Bang it on something.

Or just check the batteries.

Most have an autoprogram feature that finds all the channels and then you can flip through them.

I did that and have all programs.

The problem is flipping between them.

I can press " 1 and I get there and the same with 2-9, the problem is when I want to hit 21 for example or any other 2 digits.

Not trying to be funny here Mon, but did you check the instructions?
If all else fails, find a 12 year old and I'll bet they can figure it out!

You know what, I like any normal man never read manuals but a couple of Hr's ago I gave up and read the entire manual (96 pages) from start to finish.

Not a word about it.

Call the store, assuming you didn't purchase it online, and ask a salesperson.
That or find some neighborhood kid and have him figure it out.
I feel your frustration. I'm sure you'll solve it. Just let us know what it was!

Not that I can see.

Here's the manual: http://www.manualowl.com/m/Samsung/L.../Manual/296874

EDIT: Yes, there is one button like that.

Check number 16 so it's set on TV.

When I press that one I can switch 2 digits channels but not single digits?

By selecting that option using the -/-- , you should be able to change the remote to a two numeric channel change....
This will mean for single channel numbers, you will need to hit 02,03,04 as an example. But should allow you to select double digit numbers for higher channels......

Hope that works!

Nice catch Rob. That's a new one on me. I have a Samsung that's only about 8 months old but I don't have that "-/--" configuration.
Glad it worked out Mon. This place is amazing!

Give it to a child, preferably under 15 years of age and they'll have you up and running in no time.

Do these buttons still exist today? Must be the most annoying button on the planet. I never had a remote with it, but a few friends did. Haven't seen one in ages, though...
