But I have found something strange that finally buying a Rolex has done to me that's different than the others - I literally never wear the Orises and Ball watches that got me here. I can't bring myself to wear the "lower level" pieces in my collection knowing that beautiful Rolex is sitting there in my box.
I am with you about not wearing my lower level watches any longer. I am getting ready to sell my Ocean 7 GMT, Oris Artix Chronometer, and my 6 week old Glycine Incursore Ltd. DLC and put the receipts into my sub c fund. That will leave me with:
* Omega Bond blue wave dial on a bracelet
* Omega PO 45.5 on rubber (2500 cal, not the new model).
* Ball Trainmaster 120 rose gold with grey dial. A beautiful watch and a 50th birthday present from my wife
* Rolex DJII with silver diamond dial
* Rolex sub c (hopefully later this year)
* Hamilton Flight Timer A/D quartz as my beater watch

Both the Omegas are the two watches that Daniel Craig wore in Casino Royale. I didn't buy them for that reason, but do kind of like that fact 😊

Three divers, two dress watches, and 1 beater. With that, I hope that I am done "collecting"
