Monaco ?...In direct comp with Tag ?
I have a far better chance at 66 to marry Lindsay Lohan !!...
...than Rolex to manufacture a watch called the... Monaco.

.... I think there's a better chance you will marry LL as she's running out of money and half the time too intoxicated to know what she's doing!

Forgot about the Tag.... Perhaps Cosmograph Monte Carlo, or Monza?

If they do, my reaction would be somewhat akin to Darth Vader's "Noooooooooooo" in Revenge of the Sith

Monza is another Tag model.

In conjunction with the 24h race theme, the redesigned Cosmograph could be named LeMans.

Just a suggestion and after rereading it, i think it's a bad idea. I think a 50th anniversary Daytona with either black or white dials with green subdial rings and 'Daytona' font would look smashing.

If it was Omega you'd probably see a Speedy with checkerboard dial, champagne bottle hour hand, an "F" at the 1 o'clock position, and paddles instead of screw down function buttons. But we're talking Rolex here.

I highly doubt it, and I certainly hope not. No matter how much I liked the James Bond PO I just can't stand the crassness of that 007/PPK thingy at the 7 o'clock position (just my opinion, ymmv).

I get the feeling that as far as Rolex is concerned F1 has been graced to allow it to be associated with the Rolex name - not the other way around.
