Bought my first Daytona and Rolex in the early seventies.

I agree with what Bo said, but I'd also choose the white for the Daytona. It'd make a nice companion piece for my 116710.

I'd pick white. It has a cleaner look and it's a bit easier to read. It would also contrast my black Sub.

Can't go wrong with either. I'm thinking about getting one and am leaning toward the black but would consider both. I have a white dialed Ball and it looks awesome.
