Inspired At Basel

Seeing the THC Blue, predominately sporting the color coordinated nylon strap, inspired me to take advantage of the additional strap option on my own Heritage chrono.
For a guy who's always preached wear and enjoy, it's taken me awhile to decide to actually use it. (As a side note: I asked a Swiss Tudor AD if they could order the THC Nylon strap. They said yes, the cost would be close to 200.00 CHF, $214.00 US)

Just hours after arriving home from Switzerland, the change was made.

On first glance the thin strap appears a bit thin for such a substantial watch.

But after being worn all day I found it extremely comfortable.

Hats off to Tudor for not only providing but more importantly, including, a matching strap option to complete a great package.

Interesting post, beautiful watch, beautiful combination and superb pictures as usual. Love the cyclop.

And wow, $215 for a (very cool) nylon strap!

P.D I remember you from the good old days at the SCWF, Dan. I even bought from you a nice 6309-7040 suwa dial some years ago which I still have :-).

Dan! You've got a cyclops lens on your crystal. How did you do that? The only thing that kept me from buying this same model up here, was the lack of cyclops and the teeny, tiny date window.

And the watch does look fantastic on the nylon

Outstanding!

Does the strap actually have little spring bar pockets sewn in? It looks like it but I cant see any stitching.

It is a custom pocketed Zulu so one reason it's more expensive - and worth the look. When it's a vintage model, you'll already have the strap properly faded

while the blue THC looks best on the bracelet, IMO, the grey or black THC looks fantastic on that strap or on the bracelet. not sure why you waited so long.
