Stranger in a strange land...
Ok those of you might know me know that I usually hang out in the patek room rubbing elbows (?wrists) with high complication discontinued patek and arguing/debating/whatever whether a j is better than a R or a P better than a G and whether sunken subdials destroy an esthetic or whether it was really necessary for markers to be "eaten" by the moonphases or other strange things.
OR you might find me putting on a one man fashion show in our beloved attire thread OR hamming it up with our much loved audemars piguet friends with our ultra cool angular wrist juggernauts with all their intricate metals and ceramics and rubbers fused like modern art or uptown fusion kitchen But it occurred to me today how much I love rolex despite it all, and how there really is a rolex for every man (and woman) - because it's an everymans watch... From the high end watch collector to the blue collar earner...there really is something for everyone and that really is quite amazing when you think about it. There are few things as good lookin as a vintage rolex - and let me go on the record that I LOVE vintage rolex (I wish I was an expert but I too am still learning all the ins and outs of the vintage rolex game). So to celebrate this epiphany - safely stowed away all the pateks went and put came this beauty for a photo shoot which I've humbly decided to share... And a new shot I invented today "the sunset" shot |

EB, that watch fits you very well and it looks fabulous! I can only agree with the fact that vintage Rolex watches (or watches from any brand for that matter) are real masterpieces and they all have their very own stories! I love your pictures!
