Sadly yet another armed robbery of Rolexes from AD

See this link. Very nice AD in New Jersey that sells a lot of top tier watch brands but is seems the creeps go for the Rolexes. They have a lot of jewelery there too besides the watch cases.

I have every confidence these bums will be caught. For once the surveillance cameras actually took great photos. Let justice be served. Thankfully no one got hurt.

i hope they catch the robbers. The first pic shows the face of the burglar i guess. The police might run a facial search in its database and find the criminal but nevertheless they should be caught at all costs

Penn crew that's been hitting a bunch of Jewelers... unfortunately impossible to stop unless you post heavily armed security inside and out side stores......Hope they get busted but most of that stuff has been fenced by now....

Rolexes are easier to convert to cash than any other expensive watch. Every low-life in the world would own one.

You would think armed guards would be present at any top-tier jeweler like this. When you can grab $50,000 worth of watches with one hand, you'd think they'd invest that into the salary of a big dude with a gun out front.

I'm glad to read nobody got hurt, those criminals will probably (and hopefully) get caught but the fact that everybody is safe is the most important thing.

All an armed guard could do is begin a shootout that would endanger staff and customers.

Our local AD had a very similar robbery and installed a sally-port with a Deputy Sheriff controlling it.

The video frame with the perp's face in clear view is helpful. That, plus a reward for info, kickstarts the best facial recognition system ever - tipsters in the general public will likely know this guy.

But then we have armed guards in the Federal Reserve, Fort Knox or at the United States bullion depository, international airports and even the White House.

Not sure that's a good idea. That's when innocent people get caught up in the crossfire. At the end of the day it's just a bunch of watches. Not sure it would be good for business either. I know I'd take a wide berth if I saw armed security outside a jewellers.
