It's probably worth it if you get a decent discount

I'm glad I don't like it so the price is irrelevant to me.

It's okay. I'll just wait until it trickles down into the secondary market and pick one up from one of our trusted sellers.

I appreciate this watch for everything that it is, including the fact that it has no relevance to me and my life, whatsoever.

If I win the lottery and buy a racing yacht, then I'll consider one, but since I don't play the lottery, I'm not holding my breath.

For my money, there are a lot more useful watches that I'd like to have.

Wow I really like it, but no way I'm not paying 16+ for it.

There are a lot of possible prices in this thread.

How about just one authoritative, definitive number?

I guess the answer to the OP's question is we don't yet have confirmation of a US retail price on the sucker.

Hi Bruce

there are a lot of possible prices on this thread because Rolex pricing varies across the world.

Unfortunately, the original poster did not ask for a specific country pricing ie. he did not say "how much in USA?". He has listed his location as "ri"...? I'm not sure where that is?

I think the variety of answers has been very helpful to many members of TRF, who span the globe.

All are good

Hey John!

Not surprised at all by the exorbitant AUS price, but, your AU/US comparison is a little off......!
Roughly at par at this moment!

Either way, until it hits the store, the price will be speculative.
I believe it will sell, and well, despite all the groans of it being 'To much'!!

Many other brands sell SS watches, with less complications for similar or more without the crying. So I have to wonder, is this a manufacturers tier delema from the picky WIS crowd, or is it just because Rolex has now made an expensive SS watch to fit in with 'The Big Boys' of haut??

Carry on!

Hi John,

Actually, the title of the thread does ask specifically for US pricing.

As for the other angles, I understand, and I was being a bit tongue in cheek. All in good fun.

P.S. I'm guessing, but I think ri = Rhode Island.

OOPS, my bad my apologies, I missed the title and just read the question.

I'll go and sit in the corner for the rest of the day

Hi Rob

I hate it when you're right! I've been out of the country till a few days ago (I was in USA!!!), and it was around $1.05 when I left last month. Seems to now be in freefall. Lucky I bought a stack of US notes before I left (but I did spend most of them on our trip).
