Poor baby....

I feel your pain, I'm exactly the same. Two choices: It's ruined, sell it and by a brand new one for $1k+ more and never go near your kids room again......or get over it - and have the all door edges in your home rubberized.
Option 3 - oh well, it was bound to happen.

HA HA HA !!! That's funny man!! I don't buy the character building BS either ... I would love to build character with YOUR watch, not mine... ha haha ..

You know what builds character? It is withstnding the temptation to punch a buyer who is offering you $500 less because of all the scratches you have on your watch!!

Very right ... there is a fine line between enjoying your watch and down right abusing it. For me personally, I get a kick out just looking at the shiny surfaces and those razor sharp edges. I do not have to wear my watches to enjoy them. But when I do wear them, I am aware and take special precautions to not bang them around and minimize scratches.

Watches are meant to be worn, not worshipped. I wear them sparingly and the fact that they look sparkling new years after I bought them, gives me that special kick!

I don't get character marks on my watch. All I get are scratches.
