AD in playa del Carmen, Mexico
I am on holiday in mexico at the moment and was shopping on 5th ave in playa del Carmen when I come across a Rolex dealer.
Not sure if it was a ad or grey. I couldn't believe how quick he was to get them out the case and on my wrist to push a sale. I was there with a tt Daytona on, maximum 5m from the open front shop! In England it's all buzz entry doors and security guards. Offered 10% off if I purchased 2 or more watches at once on Ss models. |

Playa
I have been there before and it looked legit to me. There is also a place in cozumel which is a short ferry from there. Cozumel is also pretty fun.

You can always look them up on Rolex's webpage if you have doubts. 10% off should be a cake walk, no matter if you buy one watch or five.

Your post reminded me of being in Mexico - their saying was... "Cheap, cheap, it's almost free"

I can name 20+ AD & Grey stores in the UK where I can just walk in. I'm not in a big city either.
Guess it depends which area your in. P.S. think it was a Rolex store in Luxury Avenue ? In Cancun where I was looking when out there. They were friendly, not sure on discounts though.

I assume you're referring to Ultra Jewels. They also have stores in Cancun and Cozumel. I was there last month and their selection was "ok". Nothing too special. I can get better prices in the states, so I didn't bother with a purchase.

How much of a hit do you take returning home from customs?
