Very nice looking piece. I love the contrast between the strap/dial/case/pushers.

Gorgeous, Ali. Congrats! It reminds me of the Legacy. Is wearing this watch with gold numerals ok?

Thank you all! This is my first RC, but I did have a steel ROO before for two years so the weight (I use the term lightly here as it is NOT heavy) is a welcomed feeling.
One thing I have come to realize is that I am just in LOVE with the 42mm ROO design - I cannot have enough of it! This is my 3rd personal and 4th one to rotate overall.
I told my wife just now that it just hit me that the 42 ROO to me as a case, is like the Oyster bracelet on Rolex - just cannot get enough of it and feels so different with the clasps and the polished/brushed. Timeless, really.
I guess third time IS a charm, afterall!

Mike, good question! Technicallllly, I "tell myself" that it is the same as the rotor, or some of the white gold (hands or otherwise) inside the dial. I am sure that I am bending the rules here, probably breaking them, but I just do not know my friend. Personally still won't be buying bulks of gold watches.

Don't worry bud I'm sure you're fine whereas I, with all my gold, will rot in hell. Even without the gold, I expect I'd still be in jeopardy.

Very nice 57th!
I've yet to see one in person. But your pics really show how stylish it is on the wrist. Enjoy it in good health!

RG by the pool...

Very happy with my new short strap that I got put on at the "old" Bal Harbour boutique. Here's the first pic I took of it sitting by the pool across the street at the St. Regis. Top notch hotel and amazing service.

Unfortunately, after a short getaway, it is back to the cold here in Toronto!

hope those pics are better representations of how the 57th looks in real life and how the dial and numerals "come and go"
