Looked at some JLC: Master is too good
I stopped by jaeger lecoultre AD to look at a Master Control. They didn't have the SS version but they DID have a Hometime, an Ultra Thin, and a Chronograph.
WOW ... I initially wanted a nice leather band dress watch and liked the Master Control. But now I like them all. Any one have opinions on these pieces. Which they prefer and why? Can there be only one? |

I was thinking of the "plain" Master Control in SS. But after seeing the other SS models in person, I'm not sure. All are elegant and the price difference isn't outrageous. Just wanted other's opinions.

That's a hard question. All are timepieces but I went for the Chrono just for something different.

They are all great choices, but for me it would be the MUT Moon 39... classic and elegant.

I'm a fan of the Memovox and Master Moon UT. Oh, and the Reverso. Also, the Tribute series...
I love em all! You can't go wrong with JLC.

Ultra thin is really nice, with or without moon phase.

The new 2013 JLC master calendar is next on my hit list. The new dial layout is perfect and is closer to the previos generation,IMO.

i was having a hard time deciding like you. When the MUT perpetual was released, I ordered that. It was double my original budget, and one of the more useful complications. Not sure how i am going to pay for it yet though, lol.

Any one have the Memovox? I think the alarm would be cool but honestly I wonder how often I'd use it.
I'm surprised that the Master Control got so few votes. Is the MUT that much better? |
