My Pam 504

Hi Guys, just traded my DSSD for PAM504!

Got to say its the polar opposite of the DSSD but its an absolute beauty!

A friend of mine bought a PAM233 that got me hooked and couldn't get Panerai out of my head, just had to hock the beast as soon as I saw the 504!

Love it.

Congrats bud !!!! Enjoy the heck out of it .. BTW, I would have a hard time trading my DSSD for a PAM ... Even though I recently sold mine to fund an AP.

Congratulations on [what I assume to be] your first PAM - and what a PAM it is! As noted with Mercury's elsewhere, the 504 has a wonderful dial with the "vintage" 3-6-9-12 & secs sub-dial from the 6152-angelus* days I also think the P.3000 is a great movement, thin with enough of a power-reserve to win over the many an automatic fan

*You may be interested to know that Panerai "upgraded" 3646 Radiomir cases with the Angelus 240 SF movement when they came in for service. The Angelus offered not only 8-day PR but the secs complication. The first batch(es) were replaced with in-stock Radium dials and soon after with Tritium dials labeled "Luminor". Long-story-short, your 504 is based on a very rare (but very real) Panerai

Personally obtaining a PAM like the 504 directly from Firenze, well it doesn't get much better than that, does it

puts 99.999999999999999% of "congrats on your new watch!!" posts to shame (including mine).

Thanks, Mr. Jones! I guess Nishant and I represent both extremes, don't we...
But I can live with that - it isn't the first time I've been accused of jumping in with both feet. My weak-spot is pre-V but hopefully that will change in roughly a month's time when I take delivery of the newest reference book, number 233/1500... ;)
