Icon17 Visit to AP boutique in Riyadh

I will let the photos speak for themselves, the EOT is a thing of beauty surpassing any AP I have seen by strides.

The equation of time is one of my favorite pieces. Great shot by the way!

Here's a link to a good review on that watch. Click here.

EOT looks hot. I saw the EOT in the Beirut AD, looks gorgeous. I am not sure but i think it was RG. Is it possible its different for every city?

Yes, any city can be configured it takes 6 months to order any particular city which makes it even more special

I'm surprised, then, that they don't have the city's name and the months in Arabic. You'd think for such a large market, they'd configure it that way.

On the other hand, I only took a semester of Arabic in college - tough language! - so I don't know whether the script would be to large to incorporate.

There is not enough space on the mini dials to write the days and months in arabic and in arabic there are no abbreviations for the days and months like there is in English.

The cool thing is the EOT can always be reconfigured for another city by sending it in... just in case you move from Riyadh to Paris.

If I'm correct the watch is set to the sun rise and sun set of your nearest city and that city is designated on the inner bezel.

Is 'Blackpool' appropriate on a 90k watch?

Makes perfect sense. We didn't get to that in Arabic 101. Or we did and not knowing that was one of the reasons I got a C+!

Would they change the city name printed in?

The Messi and the 15202 are in the background but were neglected when the EOT showed up

This thread has not been active since 2013 and I do think that we should revive it.

Does any of the current 26603ST owners have some pictures to share with us? It is an amazing piece and a big step up from a regular chrono complication.

I have heard rumors that AP will be bringing out some new complications soon, does anyone have any Intel on that?

Nope guess we'll have to wait for Baselworld, I'm waiting impatiently to see what Patek brings out this year but will also take a look at other novelties like AP

How come? What was the reason you got sick of it quickly?

Yes, please do post some pictures when you get a chance.

Thanks!
