I'm starting to wonder if the original question was 'Which one has the busiest dial' ? .....The Breitling gets my vote.

It depends, as part of a collection or as a sole timepiece. PAM as part of a collection, Navitimer as your only watch.

Pam; if it were B4B and suitable for swimming, IŽd prefer Breitling

The Breitling is an iconic watch without a doubt and I would take a vintage any day of the week, but they can keep the new stuff. The Pam has been on my list for some time but just keeps getting moved down for something I like better. I would like to have one in the stable some day. If those are your choices I say the Panerai.

Amazing how some threads get moved on a questionable rationale, other total mis-placed topics like this one stay on the Rolex Discussion Board for 3 pages of replies.

I will never understand the love for Breitling. Looks like a giant blinged out piece to my simple eyes. The Pam is simple, clean and looks classy.

Two beautiful examples, and personally I would rather have the Panerai in this case over the Breitling...but 100% without a doubt, the Navi is the more "iconic" watch.

Unanswerable
Which one would I get?
Who cares... I have different watches in my collection than you and likely differing aesthetic tastes. The Breitling is a classic 1940s aviation chronograph with slide rule and the Panerai is a Richemontized 1950s Italian Navy watch. Very different watches indeed. My suggestion is to pick the one that makes YOU smile! My $.02 |

The navitimer is the only Breitling I'd buy, and I don't like Panerai so it's an easy choice.
