Please check pics of GMT 1675
Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a GMT 1675 and would greatly appreciate feedback on this watch in terms of condition and if the dial and hands look original. Thank You |

Dial and hands look good. Case looks good. Insert appears to be a medium font early 70s variant but still looks good. Need a serial number to verify if that is correct dial for the production year. Should be in the neighborhood of a 67 to 71ish. Do you have any pictures of the inside of the case. Slight tritium missing on the 6 and 7 plot.
Editing because the 2s look a little funky. Can someone verify the insert? |

The dial is period correct. Doesn't look like too bad for an old, 44-year-old GMT 1675. The insert appears to be a replacement insert but most older GMT's have had the inserts replaced so I wouldn't fret over that at all.

Should the GMT hand be on top of the hour hand? Hard to see the handstack correctly.

This text and picture is borrowed from GMTmasterhistory.com (great reference site). "The hands (of the 1675) are in the following order: GMT/Hour/Minute/Second" The 16750 is: Hour/GMT/Minute/Second

No. It should be on the bottom on the 1675. You are confusing it with the 16750 where the hour hand is on the bottom.

is that some lume chipping at 6 o'clock? Looks very nice and could be a catch at the right price.
