When was this model Sub produced and any other information about it woud be appreciated. I love it. The orginal "Shark"

Looks like a 5512 produced from late 1959 to the late 70's

Agree with GreekBum as to looking like a 5512 but the case looks odd, note the crown guards looking over polished. Maybe a "touched up" scan? Bezel looks like an early one. Any good scans? M

Dial is a 5512 Maxi II. Crown guards and crown seem a little odd. Unusual to see a crown that does not extend beyond the guards on a Sub...more likely to see that on a Gmt. At the point that the above seem odd, I am not surprised that the bezel insert is unusual as well.

I think it looks off because it is part of the magazine insert ad itself, and the page is rounded at the binding in the middle.
