Pulled the Trigger!!

After a particularly good week at work I left early on Friday and went to my local AD and picked up a new Exp II Polar. I have been wanting a companion for my Sub C LV for some time now and to me the two go perfectly together. I have always loved watches and always had 3 or 4 at any one time. Usually Tag's and the odd Corum. Now though, with 2 Rolex's I feel like I might be able to consider myself a budding collector!

HUGE congratulations! I know how you feel because I have the same 2 Rolexes. The EXII is my fav. of the newer models and the HULK is to me the most interesting/cool take on the most iconic watch ever made. Congrats!

Very nice. Don't you sometimes wish you actually could wear both, and not seem weird?

Congratulations. And I think you bought it at a good time for more than a year ago that Rolex does not increase prices and may be increases soon. Enjoy!

Great choice and congratulations! I always liked the black face of the older breed explorer 2 but the white is the clear winner for me on the new ones!

You can...as you do have to arms and wrists.....

Very nice pick up as I too like the white dial on the Explorer II.....

I totally agree. I am absolutely delighted with the ExpII but I still hold the Hulk closest to my heart. Maybe beacuse it was my first Rolex and like you say, it is truly an iconic watch. Having said that - I dont think it will be getting too much wrist time over the coming weeks.

Lovely pair. I have the ExpII White dial myself. I would be interested to know which one eventually settles into being the most worn.
