Letters to Rolex No. 5

The 5th in the series of unsolicited letters to Rolex.

This one is special to me because I can say personally verify that the Army Ranger Scool is a true story.

I have personally spoken to the now Colonel, Director of Staff, NATO Joint Forces Command, Naples Italy, who until I spoke to him about 2 years ago didn't even realise that Rolex had published his letter dated 10 November 1976.

Awesome letter! These Rollies are more rugged than most of us will ever need.

The Janet Moss 58 year old Rolex watch letter intrigues me.

I wonder if she wrote in subsequently when Rolex would have refused to service her watch since it was more than 30 years old and they don't hold parts any more?

Lol! If a watch can get through Ranger school, it can get through anything. One of the toughest courses on the planet.

Jamie, unfortunately, the Explorer was lost in a theft, but it was replaced with the Submariner, so the Colonel is still sporting a Rolex.
