Icon5 Ladies wearing Submariners?

Hello Friends,
I have been the lucky owner of a new ceramic submariner since May of this year.i am a 58 year old male.During this time I have noticed more than one woman wearing one.Just last night I was at an upscale restaurant outside Philly and noticed a well dressed woman in her thirties sporting a submariner. Is this a trend?I saw a photo of Charlize Theron wearing a sub at a Lakers game some time ago.It seems that ladies are wearing larger watches these days and I guess they can't resist putting on one of these classics as an accessory. Is this just my imagination or is this the way things are these days?

Nothing new. Every well to do woman in Miami seems
To have a gold Daytona these days.

No, but the PAM is a lefty so she could do 2 at once

The real problem is that she also wears any of my watches that are on straps so the AP Diver, Portuguese and JLC are all open season, whereas most of hers the strap is too small or I would have to add in 4 links to the bracelet. She definitely gets the better end of the deal in our house.

I would not worry about it -- it actually works out well. I now have someone to go watch shopping with, someone who enables me as much or more than TRF, I get a few less eye rolls when she sees me on this forum and it greases the skids for new purchases. And all it costs me is to let her wear one of the watches I was not going to wear that day anyway (she chooses second).
