Authenticate this 114060 please?
Picked this up from a highly-rated TZ'er, so I have no doubts about him.
But he's not the original owner, and the original AD won't authenticate the buyer on the receipt vs the serial number (which is how I've done it in the past.) Could all you experts take a look? Any other photos you'd like? I can also provide an enlargement. I intentionally mashed out the SN -- I can supply it if someone wants. The rehaut SN does match the warranty card SN. It's also a G-series number, but the sales date is in 2013. Thank you! -Jon |

Thank you.... Mr. Bill! :)
What would be helpful? A closeup of the rehaut? Crown and crown guards? Lume pic? I think the back is pretty much nondescript.... Thank you!! |

It should be a G-series as far as I know. The sky-dweller and the 114060 are G-series, both introduced late last year.

are those scratches, dust or smudges on the 15th and the 18th? this model would have the cerachrom bezel which is almost impossible to scratch.

Looks like surface lint - the item looks good - but only way to do it right is pay for a verification.
Otherwise, who knows what's inside?

Sad day when the ad whom sold the watch won't authenticate.
Is the serial number legit when searched? I think your watch is fine. |

Good luck. Personally if there was any doubt about something like this, I wouldn't have bought it. |

Well looks good, but that's no 100% guarantee.

Thanks for all the thoughts! I'm 99.9% sure she's good -- it's a highly-rated TZ'er and I had a nice long chat with him before buying. I don't have "doubts" per se... but you never know -- you know? I've looked for the tell-tales of recent high-grade fakes and this one doesn't seem to have them.
Here are some better photos. Sorry about the delay -- I finally got myself a macro lens. :) Marks and "scratches" are my inability to keep dust and fingerprints off it. The SN doesn't show up on Google. I took her to two separate Rolex-authorized (or so they claim) repair shops. Both of them took one look and said that it was authentic without cracking the back. One of them issued an appraisal for full value. Anyhow, without further ado (my ulterior motive is not to show her off, mind you... although she has been getting some decent wrist time -- I wore her to my wedding. :) ) Thanks again. -Jon |

The only way to be 100% sure before you buy is buy a brand new one at brick and morter Rolex dealer. Just my opinion.

Don't you believe it ceramic will scratch as there have been quite a few reported cases on forum. But IMHO the OP watch is fine just strap it on your wrist and wear it in good health.
