Icon10 LEAST under the Radar Rolex...

Since we have the most under the radar thread going, I was curious to what people thought was the least under the radar Rolex.

Clearly anything with diamonds will draw major attention so lets leave diamonds on the bracelet and the case out. Diamonds on the dial are ok to be considered in this discussion.

My vote is the yellow gold day date and day date II,

Second place would be a yellow gold Daytona

Third place would be a yellow gold submariner.

Your thoughts, AND pictures???

Lets have some fun with this thread, all!!!

I think I'm pretty guilty too. I don't like jewel encrusted cases and bezels but under the crystal is fair game!
Diamonds, Tahitian Mother of Pearl, and gold crystals, It's all good!

Has to be YG YM2. It's very noticeable... in a good way IMO.

Outside of the iced out watches which are not my preference i would give my vote to YG SkyDweller - large and beautiful piece. Definitely not understated. ;-). It is on my list along with the RG on leather.

Well, I think that because a Rolex is large or flashy doesn't mean that it isn't flying under radar.

I think that to most people the most identifiable Rolex is a Sub or Sub Date.

For older folks the DateJust or the Day-Date probably would take the honor.

Without diamonds the most eye catching is the YG DD2 because its fluted bezel sparkles in the light more than any other gold Rolex.

I agree, especially the 114270.

I'm wearing mine for the next couple of weeks and I took the time to really examine the dial and it never ceases to amaze me just how perfectly symmetrical the dial is and when you focus in on the lettering on the dial, it is nothing short of exquisite.

I honestly think that 36mm is the perfect size for this model.

Brilliantly constructed and elegant in design in a size that is in no way ostentatious or cumbersome.
