Icon9 Desk Diving Hurts

Well, it hurts the clasp anyway.

Can't believe how matte my clasp has become on my GMT IIc.

Kinda odd the wear pattern is. Due to the raised coronet, there's a perfect "line" where the wear stops.

May try to post up a picture tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that, I would guess your AD could fix that or you can buy a new clasp as well. I am thinking of buying one for my SD. It looks real bad IMHO

Yeah, the polished clasp sure is proned to get scratches! But don't worry too much about it. Scratches are inevitable, and RSC can polish them away during service.

At the end of the day it's all surface stuff. The scratches will be polished out when you get the watch serviced.

A new clasp for a scratch?

It'll all go away, just give it time.

If it looks like this then you need a new bit... Otherwise no worries, just wear it.

Awe, hell, I ain't worried about it; it happens.

I wear this thing! I'm not a box jockey. Been off all of three days since July. Not bad...

Don't even worry about it. Wear and enjoy the watch! Matte clasps get scratched too. The only way to avoid it is to park your piece in a drawer.

Brushed steel is easy to get the scratches off, just use a Scotch Brite pad.

If you find a AD that sells them please let me know.
I've been looking for one for a long time for a YM and no AD or RSC will just sell them unless something is wrong with yours and they exchange it.
