Advice on Sea Dweller 16600
This is my first SD and I would really appreciate your guidance.
I am looking for a 16600 with box and papers and found a few candidates. Conditions of the watch being equal, would you advise a more recent or a less recent year? e.g. 2007 vs 1995? Thank you. |

Unless you are seeking a particular year you should always buy the best example you can afford.. Typically this would also be the latest, but not always..
One is in the tritium era, the other is not..

Tools is correct......the other thing to consider in addition to tritium or not is deciding if you want lug holes or not. I believe "Y" was the last year with lug holes.
good luck in your search - SD is aces |

There should be a pretty big price difference in those two years, if everything else is equal.

My advice would be for an A-serial through a Y-serial. These would have drilled through lug holes and luminova dial and hands.

Thank you very much for the feedback.
One of the SD I found so far is an N-serial. Beautiful. Best, Francesco |
