What's my problem??

I have owned in the last 1 1/2 3 NIB Rolex, a 39mm Explorer, a 14060(random) and a 114060,should also say a very very nice Tudor 79280 pre Tiger. For some reason I just couldn't warm up to them like my first love my N Master II Pepsi that I've owned for almost 20 years. I look at the FS adds every day looking for something to strike me but even though I like all the basic Rolex tool models I just circle back to my Pepsi!! Should I just give up??? Is it OK to be a one watch guy??

Nothing wrong with being a one watch person. Especially if it is a pepsi. Maybe look at other brands if no other Rolex models appeal to you.

No shame in one watch... but it wouldn't hurt to have one more in case that one goes on the blink and has to go in for a service.

In the past year an a half, I've owned the 114060, 16610, 16570, 16234, Tudor Pelagos, two Omega Planet Oceans, a Breitling Superocean 42, TAG Heuer Carrera Twin Time, and an Omega Seamaster Professional.

The TAG and my 114060 are all that remain. Nothing wrong with having one main watch. A lot of buying and selling has been me finding out what I like. Sticking mainly to the used market has allowed me to try out different timepieces and see what I like. There's no sense in keeping something if you're not going to appreciate it, so there's no shame in flipping until you find the right one for you.

Nothing wrong, be glad you know what you like.

When another one comes along you will know it

A content man is a happy man.

If you are looking for something to give your pepsi a rest from time to time, maybe check out a few other brands.

This. Keep your Pepsi, which you obviously love, and add something different from another maker. It will be a blow of fresh air.

Same with me, except its my Coke.

In the past 2 months I have had a 16622, a 16600, a 16613, a 16713, and my trusty 16710 Coke. I like my plain jane Coke more that any of the others. I am wearing my coke as I type this. I just cant take it off!

I would go with your gut feeling. Remember, you are wearing the watch all the time and should go with what speaks to you the most. The Pepsi is awesome and you love it, so I would definitely stick to that. If you get the temptation to venture out for a second piece, you have a lot of great options.

You're lucky you like what you first selected and already own. I'm entranced by the new and what else is out there, which is kind of dumb because if we're honest with ourselves, we know what we like.

Regarding the Coke or Pepsi, I've never one but those that have them swear by them. There must be some magic there for you and others. Why wear something else when you could be wearing your Pepsi ;-)

By the way, I was having coffee at the Rockridge Market Hall in Oakland the other day and a 40-something guy was wearing a Pepsi. I commented on it and he said, "Thanks, I love this watch as much today as the day I bought it new 20 years ago. It's my favorite watch and my only watch". No kidding.

I bought my Sub C and its everything that I had dreamed it would be. I have no desire to own anything else. I'm a one watch guy for sure and glad I am. It makes me happy every time I put it on. I've looked at tons of watches but none do for me what my Sub does. It might sound crazy but even if I had all the money in the world I wouldn't be buying more watches. I love my Sub and its all I need.

Nothing wrong with having just one watch. I wish I could be that content with one. It's tough to choose one in the morning =)
