First edition of Rolex Magazine
I went to my AD earlier today and they gave me a copy of a Rolex magazine first edition. They told me that they would call me whenever they get a new one. Being a first edition, has anyone else manage to get their hands on one?

Considering what it is costing me to have my watches serviced by the RSC it would be nice to find one in the package when the watch comes back.

I'll be at my AD tomorrow.
I need to have my Sub regulated, anyway, so I'll kill two birds with one stone.

First edition of Rolex Magazine
The AD told me that they got the magazine in today. They made a huge deal about it and made sure to tell me to save it as I could make a nice collection out of them.
Funny thing is that they gave it to me as my visit coincided with a second degree cousin...who in the words of the AD owns a boatload of Rolexes. I think the magazine is more for people like him....even though I am a good customer and have purchased several items from their store, I only have two Rolex watches and purchased them from somewhere else! The magazine is very thick and the print quality and paper stock is what you would expect from Rolex. |

Is it going to be monthly, or what?

The AD didn't know. If I had to guess...I would say probably not more often than quarterly. I feel it would be too much effort to do it monthly. My thinking is that once they cover all the watch models it becomes a bit challenging to keep the publication interesting...

Well Omega have been producing a magazine..i think its called lifetime..not sure if it is quarterly but you can also download it as an app so im sure Rolex will follow suit and keep up with modern technology

I picked up my copy today from my AD. It looks amazing and the quality is what you'd expect from Rolex-- 1st class in every way. I don't know how often this "book" will come out, hopefully every few months.

I got one in the mail yesterday with a thank you letter for purchasing.
I haven't read it yet but a quick flick shows it is mostly about dive watches. Maybe they have a couple of different ones out. I will take a photo tonight and add it to the thread. Hopefully I get to stay on the mailing list for future issues :-) |
