Icon20 Got my Large Oakley watch vault today....

Well I received my Large watch vault today and I can definitely say im more then pleased with it.

While the watch does move around in it I have solved the problem by wrapping the watch in a Veraet Micro silk cloth and now it sits perfectly snug inside.

I think I would wrap the watch either way to prevent the zipper from contacting the watch. Problem solved and I will just use this case until I find the small one or the New Case buddy design comes out.

Just prefered the better quality of the Oakley over the case buddy considering its only a couple MM bigger.

Hope this helps somebody make there choice on a case.

I haven't lurked on any watch forum since 2009.

Is this what's popular now? That Oakley pouch because I like it and never seen anything like it.

You can buy the Large Oakley Watch Vault (as pictured above) direct from Oakley for $20.00, with free shipping.....it's the small one which is tough to find these days.

Thanks for the review and pictures! I have been looking for a good solution to store watches when traveling. I ordered the large one and will probably copy your idea and wrap the watch with a similar cloth you used in your photos. :)

Got an amazon voucher & been thinking of picking a couple up although noticed that the oakley was on the amazon UK site a few weeks ago but not now

Out of interest -anyone got any comments on

Small too small
large to large although realise that large gives opportunity for padding\ wrap in cloth

Also noticed that Oakley nearly 50% more expensive than casebudi ?? Is that just brand or is the oakley worth double the money for quality etc
