A member named gary123' he has zero post and responded to my wtb ad with a red sub for sale. Unfortunately I gave him my email before I checked his stats. Ugghhhh I hate scammer trash

Well the name gary123 with a ' at the end to me seemed like he was tryin to be somebody else. And kets be honest nobody with zero post is going to contact a wtb ad with good intentions.

Seems like common sense to me....

There is a gary123 from the UK but only has about 25 post. This guys name was gary123' sorry but when I messaged him right back and emailed and got no response it felt like he was either trying a scam or getting my email.

maybe I jumped to conclusions to fast but I have dealt with similar problems before.

I'm not saying he's not a scammer, but perhaps "anybody heard of gary123" in the who's who would have been a better thread title. You can certainly PM a mod if you suspect a scammer. I've done that before and they're quite responsive.

I just thought it was odd that a member who himself only has been here a week demands another member being banned without further explanations.

Been longer then a week and I have completed 3 deals with trusted sellers. If you have nothing useful to say then move on.

I've amended your post title.

The member has been banned, but not for your rather superficial reasoning and certainly not as a direct action blindly following a member instruction.

More sober and in depth checking has been undertaken and the account has been deemed bogus.
