Dare I say ugly Rolex

I love all things Rolex, they are some of the best tool watches ever created but of late they have become a bit of a status symbol and so a host of not so classy watches have sprouted up. So I start with the first pic

That Daytona has been around for years and this topic beaten to death. Buy what you like. It's not an indictment of the entire brand. There are women who love that watch.

Well its not exactly my style. But the tool watch has been dead and buried for decades. The only reason to get is a mechanical watch these days is because you like wearing it. And that is not bad either, some like the bling, some like wearing a dive watch to work.

Yes, it's not cup of of tea. But the AD liked them. They sold very, very quickly.

My wife tried this on at an ad not long ago. When I saw the price tag I made her take it off. :D

Ilove the Leopard Daytona-and the rainbow too-but agree she s not for everyone. These pieces are the haute couture of horology ,surely not mathcing to shorts and sneakers.

I agree
Rolex has an unfathomable number of rich and diverse clientele
...like Rolls Royce they decided to "create" unique and personable goods
Look at the above diamond clad leopard skin on a strap Daytona chronograph
Which is similar in taste to a pink & silver painted Roller with white Mink
seat covers and 32 inch custom cut diamond set alli-wheels...
