How many of you YM owners take your watch in the swimming pool and or swimming in the ocean?

Nothing personal but this topic has to be the most beaten to death topic there is. Your Rolex likes every modern rolex is rated to 100m. swimming is fine pool or ocean. If in salt water rise it off per the manual. Enjoy there is nothing like a rolex in water. I've seen pic of rec divers with non subs on if rhat helps.

It'll be just fine, for better piece of mind have it pressure tested just to be safe.

I heard that Yachtmasters are only warrantied on Yachts and if they fall overboard into the water you must quickly place them in a bed of Caviar for resuscitation.

I don't have a YM myself however, once while chatting with a friend on the topic he told me that his brother-in-law knows a guy who has a friend who heard from this guy at work who claims to know someone who wore his YM to the beach and it stopped running the very next day!

So I don't know about that...

People talk about Rolex's durability and the delicacy of other brands, then they ask "can I take the stickers off it?" or "can I swim with it?" It would seem for a number of people posting here you could make the damned things out of Papier Mâché and they would survive just fine.

I wear my Daytona in the car drive over, change to the DateJust for the walk along the pier, change to the YM while on the yacht, then change over to the Sub for any in-water activities.

Jump in the water. I've been swimming in pools, in oceans, in seas for over 35 years with a Rolex. Never had a problem.

Yes you can, just rinse off if you've had it in pool or salt water. A pressure test every year is good insurance.

I had an original very cool generation one, white Swatch, which always looked cool on my University tanned skin, broke off in the surf (did not feel it go), have spent the last 25 years looking for it. Don't risk your Rolex, I only swim now at beaches with a larger clock..... or check my i-phone......
