Picked mine up this morning so far I really love it.

finger print sensor is very cool flash really does work better and now it has a "motion activity" button under privacy under settings. This will be utilized by new apps that can take advantage of the new M7 chip.

I upgrade every year and pay out of pocket about 150-200

I always get a 32gb. I pay an early upgrade fee that I get once a year 250+300(cost of phone under new contract)+60 in tax as they tax you in the full 750 price tag. Comes out to be about 610.
I sold my Iphone5 32gb for 425 on cragislist. This year I paid 185 out of pocket. I kept my screen protector and case protector from my 5.

Store didn't have what my wife wanted. So we just ordered two online. ATT waived the $36 upgrade fee X2, when I called.

I was a devout Blackberry user and finally gave in when the 4S came out. Haven't looked back since.

Bizarre... Each year I upgrade and just pay the promotional price.... 299. Each year no fees. AT&T.

There are a couple of larger phones (Phablets) on Android but it is down to the choice of the user and generally not the norm, seems to me that 4.5 to 5" are the most popular sizes, choice is a good thing, no? I certainly think that next year Apple will be producing the larger screens, why wouldn't they? A smart phone is used for much more than texting and making calls, a larger screen only enhances the experience, if not, why did Apple change from what they called the "perfect" 3.5" screen size on the iPhone 4S to the now "perfect" 4" screen on the iPhone 5? Both these phones are still available and according to Apple both have the perfect (but differing) size screen. Go figure.

Personally I don't prefer phablets but don't begrudge those that do.

The large bezels on the iPhone 5 make it look smaller than it really is, conversely, the small bezels on the Galaxy S3 and 4 make them look larger, but have no wasted space, it's all screen, actual size difference is minimal. A Galaxy S4 compared to an iPhone 5 could not be considered large.

Because your response referenced the S4 I thought I would show the difference, here is an iPhone 5 on top of a Galaxy S3 (The Galaxy S4 is even smaller but with a larger screen), hardly a tablet under the iPhone.

Good for you I have a friend who is still using hers. There's a certain pride in owning and using something that does everything you need it to do until it no longer serves its purpose

The 5S was worth the extra few bucks. The speed is noticeably faster and it serves as much more than just a phone for me. I travel a lot and when away from the office it only increases productivity...if it was strictly used as a phone I wouldn't have felt the need for an upgrade.

I agree. The 3gs is going slooooow, with all the software updates. Ios7 is not even supported.

It's time for a new phone.
