New favorite strap!

Just got my Gunny Dark Oil strap. Love it!!! I had it customized a little. Custom hole locations, 4mm thickness throughout, dead end stitching. I'll test its water resistance later.

Congrats Mike, how many straps do you have so far?

Despite being 4mm, it's VERY soft and pliable.

Maybe the only thing I'd change is a brushed buckle but some sandpaper can fix that.

it looks great, but i have a question about the buckle; i keep shying away from flat buckles like that because it always looks like they stick out a bit and will catch on things or scratch against things...are they comfortable? Do you have any problem with them?

I had similar reservations long time ago. However they are not only vintage appearance correct, they are very comfortable as they stick out and don't dig into your wrist. I haven't had issues with it scratching anything yet. They work well as a bottle opener also.

Peter has done it again! And I can't wait to copy it. Ha Ha Ha (just kidding)
What was the turn around time on this strap with the custom items?
You really did a great job with you choices.

From my initial inquiry on 9/4 to 9/24, only took 3 weeks.

I can see how that can be a one strap watch. That strap looks like it was designed to go with your watch. Nice job, I feel that you can truly put away the changing tools on this one.

Peter makes some of the most comfortable ones I've ever worn. Look great Mike. Congrats and wear it in good health.
