Daytona End Links and Strap
I'm trying to outfit my Daytona 116523 w/ a leather strap and having trouble coming by the necessary parts to make this happen. Anyone know what the part number is on the SEL end links I'm looking for? Ideally I'd like to keep the end links and strap true-blue Rolex without any aftermarket parts - anyone know how I'd get along in that direction?
I did a RForum search, and got conflicting answers that really didn't clear anything up for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

As far as I know there isn't a strap SEL for your daytona. There's a thread about this.

If you are referring to the ETUR endlinks thread, I have read it - but that doesn't really answer any questions for me.
If anyone has the patience, could someone please explain to me what I seem to be missing? I don't understand how leather strap compatible endlinks can exist for other leather strap models (of the same generation) and not for this one, when the lug-width remains unchanged among all Daytona's of the same generation. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you! |

You can, of course, put on any strap you want, any 20mm strap will fit, - you just can't put on the Daytona Rolex end pieces. there should not be any "conflicting answers"... There are a couple of folks here who do make an add-on end link that look quite nice..

Here is the front picture of that WG Strap Daytona, end fillers removed, and with the SS SEL bracelet installed..

Thanks so much for the in depth explanation. I would have never have figured that Rolex made cases with built-in endlinks in their professional series. I was under the impression that the "lug, to removeable end-link, to bracelet" construction was universal to their Professional line. Interesting.
Well, I had seen that RF member Etur made end-links in the style we are talking about - but it doesn't seem that he is an active member anymore, does anyone know of anyone else who makes quality end-links for leather Daytonas? Again, any help is greatly appreciated. |

Try Smarty Jones (posted an answer in this thread). He's making some great looking end links currently.
