Thoughts on these Tudor Pelagos mods
Been thinking about these and would like some opinions.
1st is a cyclops from a 16610 crystal. Too much? Other is an original brushed silver Tudor datewheel for a 2824.

Why not, it's your watch....you can always change it back if you do not like it.

Neither for me. The cyclops interferes with the snowflake hand as it passes and the white date wheel matches the dial hour indices better. Both are just my opinion and worth what you paid for it - nada! Do what you like.

If you like it by all means.
I wouldn't. Might as well pick up a Tudor snowflake. |

Pelagos is perfect as is. I'd play with strap but that's it for me.

Don't think much of the Cyclops if I'm honest, I'm afraid. But there's no doubt the Pelagos is one stunning watch!

IMO, I the cyclops looks odd. Then again, if the sub never came with it and someone put it on as a mod I'd probably say the same thing... I'm no help... haha

I don't care for the cyclops look on the Pelagos. Jury is out on the date wheel!

Doesn't look to bad but I'd leave it... less is more in this case I believe.

Thoughts on these Tudor Pelagos mods
Thanks folks. I was on the fence about the cyclops myself and glad to get the opinions. As for the datewheel still not sure. I'm a big fan of silver datewheels though in this case the white does go with the dial .....the other thing though is the font. The newer one is like every other watches. The older ones had a unique font to them for the numbers.

Tudor Pelagos with cyclops is historically correct
Happened to find this old post, when exploring the idea of adding a cyclops to a Pelagos Blue. Photos below are of Ref. 94110, which were produced between 1976 to around 1980.
Whether he knew it or not and whether or not you think it looks good, the OP's idea is historically correct. The collector's reference: https://thespringbar.com/blogs/guide...llectors-guide |

That was my thought. Wrong hour hand for a cyclops. I do like cyclops' but the snowflake hand needs an extension to make it work.
