Thoughts on Bremont MBII ?
Hi Gang.
Long time Rolex guy but am thinking of some day branching out. This MB II in orange has caught my eye. It's not terribly expensive and looks very solid. What is the general feeling about this brand/model? Anyone try one? thanks! Eric |

Haven't had the chance to try one on myself, but Bremont gets nothing but good rewiews it seems. It is definitely an interesting company!

I'm a sucker for orange and I personally think that the MB II is one of the most pristine-looking watches around. Classic pilot styling and easy to read quickly, as it should be. I've tried one on when I was in Berlin. A Bremont stockist kind'a hypnotized me if y'know what I mean! lol To cut the story short, even though it looked really cool it didn't appeal to me that much compared to my Oak. I am not really a Bremont "fanboy". They just seem a cut above the others at that price point and they have some genuinely interesting watches other than Bremont. I just hope they don't go too gimmicky (they're already slightly in danger of that, IMHO) and end up looking ghastly like some of the Breitlings. I suggest you try one and see for yourself.
