My LV with vintage black insert fitted

Hi guys, what do you LV fans think of this simple mod - Not so evident in pic, but this old insert has nicely faded to a dark grey and the pip is nice and cream coloured. I love it!!

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having an LV?

If you love it to you

Have to agree just cannot see the point same for putting a green insert on a normal 16610 and that's one of the main reason the green inserts are now so ridiculously high.

I think the LV is a really versatile sub; you can be green or you can be more understated and have a Submariner which kind of has a unique modern vintage look about it - With that maxi dial coupled with the faded insert..
Anyway each to his own I guess, I'm not trying to convert anyone..!

I like it, especially with the LV "Maxi Dial".

I see nothing wrong with the change...it is a relatively easy DIY job, so you can change it back if you end up not liking it.

Good way to mix it up when you desire - cheaply I may add.

I like it. As others said, the LV looks great partly due to the maxi dial. Maxi + black bezel = awesome combo IMHO.

I like my LV green as it should be, but having the option for black is nice.

Sorry but it's not an LV with the black bezel it's a modified LV and I therefore can not condone it on principle.

I have an LV myself but don't see a need to change the bezel. If that's what I wanted I'd have originally purchased a black one. But as others say ' it's your watch, do as you want'. By the way, which one is the LV?

I like the maxi plots but the old hands were sexy and elegant.
