Where's George?....
I received one of these "Where's George" bills from an ATM yesterday. I've found a few over the years.
It's interesting to log them in (at wheresgeorge.com) and see the route the bill has traveled. This particular one hasn't gone very far... it was first logged in a month ago, only about 120 miles from where I received it. Anyone else ever find and log one of these?

I've had a couple, pretty interesting to log on and see where it's traveled. I think that farthest I've ever had was around 500 miles. I haven't seen one for years though.

Had a $1.00 bill recently. I spent it on the turnpike to pay my toll - figuring it may be passed along to another traveler.

Yea, usually you see that stamp or something like it on a $1.00 bill, never seen it on a $20.00...

I did that for a little while, but it gets a little tedious and 'old' after a while. Occasionally I'll still get hits and I'll always log one in if I get one "in the wild". Its a neat site with lots of statistics.. you can spend some time there reading all sorts of facts. There are some real fanatics who are really into the tracking project. I had one hit after a few years.. you have to wonder where it sat for all that time.

I've never initiated one, but when I get a marked bill I always log it in. Interesting to see where it's been. A $20 that I had had been back and forth across the country several times.

Interesting...
It wouldn't work in Europe I think, as a Euro bill marked that much would automatically be rejected once it hits a bank and replaced.
