What watch is he buying?

Hi folks,

I often watch this show called Million $$ Listing. Here one of the real-estate agents is buying a watch ... I have often seem him wearing it but don't know the brand.

http://www.hulu.com/#!watch/228402

1. What brand/model of watch is it?
2. What is its MSRP?
3. How much is the price range for a pre-owned?
4. How is its resale value compared to ROLEX?

Thank you

Looks like a Hublot. I'm not a fan of the brand, but it looked OK on him

Yep it's a Hublot.

Not sure what model, but then again I'm not Hublot fan. Notice how he was able to knock off 4 Grand so easily. For a watch they were selling at 23,000 that's a pretty deep discount. Heck he probably could have done even better if he tried just a bit harder.

oh that's what it is! I was reminded by some Rolex sellers on TRF sales corner to stay away from hublot... its resale is pretty sucky compared to Rolex and they themselves do not take in the hublot for a trade in ..so that says a lot. If they are staying away from it, then so am I, especially when we are talking above $5K ...

It's funny you mention that show, I often watch that too with my gf and try to figure out which brand of watch the agents are wearing.

I've seen the guy wear a rose gold one with black rubber band... not sure if that's the one you're talking about and the shape of the watch is definitely a Hublot. It looks very sharp but like everyone else commented, the value over time is definitely not in the same league as a Rolex.

The whole thing is probably staged. It's reality tv, after all.

Yeah, I think he could have done better too. He only got a little over 17% off. The salesman looked like he was slow playing it when he stopped to think about the $19K offer but he was probably more than thrilled to take it. They probably love to see that guy walk in the store. He buys a $20K watch every time he sells a house, lol!! But hey, it's his money, he can do what he wants with it.

The video got me thinking, what would a watch salesman go out and buy every time they make a sale?
