Which year or serial Zenith Daytona?

Hey guys,

Looking to add a Zenith Daytona to my collection. Which year and/or serial should I look for, is there any version that is more sought after, like the MK1 Flat 4 50th anniversary 11610LV?

I've heard that Patrizzi dials are the good collector's item, but don't really know why (rarity?).

Even though not vintage you are better off posting there. With that said a Patrizzi is an interesting dial with defective paint in sub dials which caused color change when exposed to sun much like tropical dials. I would only buy a W series one myself if looking for one and not easy finds. Good luck and happy hunting. If of course you are speaking of interesting/rare Zenith Daytona's none more rare than porcelain floating Cosmo R series! Cheers,

As a matter of fact there is a nice one (porcelain dial) in the sales section for about 60k....love it!

Patrizzi is in and out of fashion IMHO

I would look for one with the inverted "6" sub-dial. The six looks like a nine in the center sub-dial.
