No doubt about it - I would get the AP.
I think the 5711 is boring - whereas you would never get tired of looking at the skeleton! |

15305. I could never get tired of staring at that dial.
Love the 5711, but if only one of the two, I'm taking the AP in this case. |

Very tough choice, there are other APs I prefer so I would take the Patek as its probably my fav model.

I really wanted to like the 5711, but end of the day it was just to plain for me. I'd go AP.
A tougher decision would be a 5726 vs 15305 |

Have to agree, its 1 of a few requirements for a watch.
AP jumbo 15202, would be my choice.

Either would be a good choice but I'd vote for the AP because of the dial

I'd take the Skeleton, but both are very nice. Alot of votes for the PP, and I can see why.

This is VERY TOUGH decision. Both are GREAT.
After long & hard thinking with a lot of tears, I'd choose 5711/1A.

I'd take the AP...
Handled the 5711 today and compared it to my 15400, the RO felt like a more solid, better made watch. The 5711 also wears small. |

I think it is all a personal preference, and I'd go for the 5711.

RO skeleton for sure. I own one and it gets more attention and awe from other people than any of my other pieces. It blows the 5711 away in terms of aesthetics as far as I am concerned. Look at it on popular Instagram accounts; it gets crazy likes compared to pieces many multiples of its price. IMO the 5711 is a dime a dozen and plain looking in comparison to the RO skeleton; the 5711 is a nice watch and a great movement, but it has a simple aesthetic. I guess if you want to go unnoticed and fly under the radar then the 5711 is the way to go, because people will notice and comment on the RO skeleton...
