Rolex 6694 colored face
I'm trying to gather as much info as I can about the Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694. I'm specifically interested in the colored dial ones - red, green, yellow, etc.
As I said, I know nothing about these. Did they originally come colored or is it aftermarket? Anything to watch out for? Really any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

The red, green, bright blue, yellow, orange, etc dials are all fakes or repainted

I see.
I know rolex just recently came out with colored day dates in gold. Did rolex ever make any other colored watches previously? |

Well, depends on the era and the model. Rolex made the Stella dials for the day-date as David mentioned. They were bright colors from green to blue to oxblood red. However today, they are not cheap. I haven't looked recently but north of $12,000.
Rolex made many of the 34mm models and the DJ with blue dials if you're looking for some color. The bright dials on the AirKings and OPs etc are sadly repainted or simply fakes. If you like that sort of thing, by all means. Just know it's not original.
